shieldmonkeyBreaks are absolutely necessary. Fitz is absolutely sure of it. He's been working on a bit of tech all day, his eyes glued to several monitors while he worked out calculations, but after so long working the same problem, his eyes had begun to cross. Ordinarily, that'd be when he'd see what Simmons was up to, but she hadn't come into the L.A.B. yet.
Hence, Fitz's current method of distraction.
There's a little cafe not far from the subway entrance they use for their base, and while Fitz is sure that it's probably best if he doesn't frequent it, they have, quite possibly, one of the best roast turkey rueben that he's ever eaten. No, it's not the sandwich he'd prefer to be eating, but it hits the spot, especially on a day like today.
And the fact that it's nice out and Fitz can take a table on the cafe's patio is a plus, especially so far as procrastinating on adjusting the observed frequencies on hearing apparatuses goes.
It's not as easy as one might think.
